According to Visit Evansville, one fun event on June 2 is the Zoo Brew at Mesker Park Zoo and Botanic Garden. Tickets are on sale as early as May 3 for this adults-only event, which takes place after normal zoo hours. You can experience local, regional, and national beers, and there will also be award-winning wines to choose from. Live music and events will take place through the night, and tickets are just $35 for general admission.

The 13th Annual Midwest Dragon Boat Racing Festival is also taking place on June 2 at the Deaconess Sports Park. Dragon Boat Racing features 40-foot canoe-like boats that date back to ancient Chinese dynasties. Each team has a crew of 20, and the event is incredibly fun to watch.

You can also see the 2018 Evansville ShrinersFest and Air Show at the Riverfront Dress Plaza from June 28 to July 1. At the festival, you can see an Air Force F-16 demonstration, a WWII Reenactment, the ShrinersFest 5k, and even a Miss ShrinersFest Pageant.
