Fall Festival Crowd | Evansville, IN

Whether you’re dreading the end of summer or excited for the arrival of cooler weather, one thing is certain: there is no shortage of fun things to do in Evansville in the fall, and nothing beats the Evansville Fall Festival. With a nearly 100 year history and tons of fun, food, and fall festivities for the entire family, the Evansville Fall Festival is a must for residents and visitors alike.

This year Evansville celebrates its 98th annual Fall Festival between Oct. 7-12. The Festival got its start way back in 1921 when a few West Side businesses decided it would be fun to host a Halloween event. Consisting initially of a parade and a masked ball that drew comparisons to Mardi Gras, the Evansville Festival has grown every year since.

This year, the Evansville Fall Festival promises to be more fun for the entire family than ever before. Popular events include the Amateur Hour talent show, Fall Festival King and Queen Contest, Family Day with special events for children, and of course the famous parade featuring more than 100 floats.

Additionally, the Fall Festival will feature more than 33 unique carnival rides that kids and adults will love. And don’t forget to bring a big appetite, as there will be plenty of local food and drink vendors with something for everyone.

We here at Evansville Kia hope to see you at this highly-anticipated event. And, if you’re in need of a new vehicle for fall, stop by our dealership to browse our shiny new Kia models.
