Earlier this year, automotive journalists and car fans gathered in Detroit to have fun at the first car show of the year. There were three Kia models at the North American International Auto Show that really stood out, the redesigned 2019 Kia Forte, the electric Kia Niro, and the sporty Kia Stinger.
The next-generation of the Forte shows off a more sophisticated side. It borrows some design cues from the athletic Stinger, boasts advanced technology options, and boosts fuel efficiency. The Forte will gain a more comfortable, upscale interior that will make commutes, long or short, more rewarding. Furthermore, standard features like an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ will be a welcome addition.
The Kia Niro comes as either a traditional hybrid or a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) that delivers an estimated all-electric driving range of 26 miles*. Both models are designed using advanced weight reducing materials alongside Advanced High Strength steel to improve the Niro’s safety. Buyers can choose from a range of advanced features to add to the Niro.
The Stinger was officially introduced at last year’s show. This year, Kia took a new approach with the Stinger by incorporating it into a virtual test drive experience. The immersive experience lets you feel its speed, responsiveness, and handling while driving through Southern France, the Pacific Coast Highway, or the Cadwell Park racing circuit.
